A Worldwide Community
Facebook is the most popular social networking website in the world. Everyone should have a Facebook because of its safety, assistance, and popularity.
Why Facebook compared to other social networking sites? Well, because everyone is on Facebook. If Facebook were a country, it would be the third largest country in the world. Facebook is more connected to other websites. For example, you always see that little blue “f” square on every website, wanting you share something via Facebook. Facebook is more creative than other sites. With all the fun things to do on it, you will never get bored.
Facebook can help you with many things. Facebook is another way to communicate so if one of your sources fails, it is always there for you! It helps you stay connected with current friends, family, and helps you reunite with old companions. For example, my mother who is a current Facebook user, uses it to search for old friends from her childhood and teen years, and also her current friends. She has reconnected with many past close friends. Facebook can help you contact your professor, teacher, or classmate if you are having troubles or were absent.
Facebook is extremely safe compared to Myspace, and other social networking sites. There is more of a variety for privacy settings. You can block people if you feel that they are a threat to you. Also, if a person is not your friend you can set it to where they cannot see certain things. If you are parent and are wondering when the right time to let your teenager to get a Facebook, the appropriate age is 13 because that is the youngest you can be to create one. You can either be their “friend” on Facebook, which is being able to see their whole profile. Or, you can create it with them and know their password.
Everyone should get a Facebook because it is more connected, can be used for school, and the amazingly thought-out safety features. Facebook is truly one big community around the world.
